Corona Virus Update as at 20th June 2020
Dear Parent / Guardian,
On the 19th June the First Minister for Wales, Mark Drakeford, announced that Nurseries in Wales could re-open to parents of children who are non-critical workers.
In order to operate in a covid safe way Kingfisher House Day Nursery has developed new operating procedures (link below). As such it is clear that Nurseries will not be able to operate at its full registered capacity.
The Nursery will therefore be allocating places to children whose parents are non-critical workers from the 29th June 2020.
The Nursery will prioritise its remaining places as follows;
- Any parents of children who are critical workers should contact the Nursery by midday Wednesday 24th June 2020 in order to guarantee a place. CCAS funding is likely to be available.
- The Nursery will contact parents who have paid their April bill (in the order that payments were made) in order to discuss a return date to Nursery.
- Remaining parents should then contact Nursery to discuss their intentions regarding their place at Nursery
We would like to thank parents for their patience and understanding at this extremely challenging and difficult time.
Rita and Colin Morgan
